BK Synchrometer airflow meter for carburetors
BK Synchrometer airflow meter for various carburetors.
Produced by STE in Germany, this is basically an air mass meter tool for carb balancing as it measures the mass, or weight of your prefer that, of the air that is being sucked into the engine.
Pushed into the trumpet / ram pipe / velocity stack or throat, it will measure and indicate the airflow which enables you to balance multiple carburettors.
The rubber cone measures between 62 and 70 mm and is therewith suited for the larger carburettors including the SU HS6 and HD8, the larger Weber carb.
Also, this "bigger brother to the SK Synchrometer" ranges up to 35 kilograms of air per hour as opposed to 30 kilograms for the SK.
On top of that, the black rubber cone / sleeve can be twisted to reveal a by-pass which will increase the maximum range from 35 to 50 kilograms per hour.
This Synchrometer is supplied including elaborate instruction sheets which you can also download HERE.
